The form of meditation which we recommend is straightforward and requires no previous experience. It does not involve imposing any strain on the body or mind. The emphasis is on using practical techniques and providing an understanding of various subtle processes, both inside and outside ourselves.

Our teaching is adjusted to the needs of the individuals in a group and is not a rigid programme or a procedure which could be learnt from a written page. It depends on the characteristics of the individuals and their experiences during meditation.

Meditation should not be considered as an activity which you can perform. Rather, it is a state which you achieve or develop and we will help you to reach that state. In the short term, you should expect to become more relaxed, physically and mentally. Most people will. However, we are all different. We have different needs and make progress at different rates.

Elements such as water, flame and air may be used to cleanse the subtle energy centres. We use simple hand movements for balancing the energy channels but we do not use any Hatha Yoga postures. No special clothing or equipment is needed.


We can visit groups of all sizes and ages. Sessions would last typically from 50 to 70 minutes. For children we would recommend sessions of around 15 to 20 minutes.


The knowledge which we have comes from Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. For over 30 years Shri Mataji was speaking around the world about spiritual and material development, from North and South America to China, from India to Russia, from Western Europe to Australia.
